Axis Pharmacy Northwest

My prescriptions were transferred to this pharmacy after Rite Aid closed. Axis occasionally calls to tell me my prescriptions are ready, but not always. I had received an RX for an antibiotic for pneumonia and 2 days later another one was added. I went mid morning to pick up new med, and was told the new prescription hadnt been rcd. So I asked them to check. They could not have been less helpful. The girl behind the counter just sat looking at her computer and I had to ask again if she cld call over to the Urgent care. At first she said she cldnt find the number, then she said no one answered. I ended up driving over to Urgent care myself and they said they sent in the Rx night before, but would send it again. So I went back. Again the girl sitting in front of her computer couldn't find the order. Then she said "We have other customers you know." Where? I was the only one there!! No one else even came in the whole 2 hrs I waited for an antibiotic (because i was sick). Finally someone from the back room came up and said she had it. Could no one have gone back there and checked? The clincher is no instructions came with it. I checked today on line and found the 2 antibiotics shouldn't be taken together, but 3 hrs apart because otherwise they cancel each other out, and one shd be taken with food. Not a word of instruction, effort or care from this pharmacy.

Very happy repeat customer! Have been using them for many years now, once a month. They are very accommodating, and fill my script in a timely way. Very nice staff also! They also carry many holistic products, goodies for fur babies as they make many meds for pets, handmade jewelry, high quality unique hair clips, lip balms, and many other interesting things. They do carry a small amount of OTC products. Convenient location for me, being only a 7 minute drive away, but if you don't live close, they'll promptly mail it to you.

For retail prescriptions this place is terrible. Horribly run. I don't personally need compound prescriptions so maybe they are fine with those, but if you just need regular retail prescriptions it's many, many phone calls and waiting for them to do anything on their end. I eventually gave up and transferred my Rx out of their location and that also took multiple calls for them even to get that done...

The people here really care. They will work with you to make sure you get that you need even they don't have it. I have both compounding and retail Rx needs and they are able to meet them. I highly recommend them over chain pharmacies.

I had a prescription transferred to the pharmacy because it was closer to home. They initially called to verify and discuss price. Once I agreed, it took just over 10 days to get a call that they script was ready. When I showed up to pick it up, it was in a different form than I have previously used. I was given the price we discussed abs I was clear that the new way the was to be administered was probably not gong to happen. They agreed to remake the script in the form I am use to and to pick it up the following day. I received a call and came to pick up the script in the correct form. However, now it's 20.00 more. This was not discussed with me and no offer to do anything about it when I picked it up. I will not be returning. Very poor communication. This pharmacy was already 40.00 more than the previous.. ended up being 60.00 more. I'll return to the previous pharmacy
