Fairview Pharmacy Services

My review is specifically for the compounding pharmacy. Everyone I’ve spoken to there has been friendly, helpful, and prompt. I always dread calling pharmacies because I feel like I never reach an actual person but that’s not the case here! Love that they mail it directly to me.

Anyone who was competent here seems to have left in the New Year. Made six calls over the week and still can't get a simple refill. We got used to getting automatic refills, 48 hour turnaround, a basic ability to troubleshoot, and reliable delivery. All of that is now out the gutter with some excuse about the holidays being busy. You're working at a pharmacy helping people with lifesaving medication, not some cafe where you forgot to add a pump of vanilla.

I never thought I’d be leaving a positive review of a mail order pharmacy in all my days. But Fairview has restored my hope- they have a very organized and user friendly system that allows me to get my supplies before I need them. Customer service is friendly and helpful.

This is heartbreaking but I just recently had an experience with Fairview Specialty Pharmacy on Kasota in Minneapolis that has given me the distinct impression they work for UCare and not the patient. This only pertains to the Specialty Pharmacy and to absolutely no other branches of Fairview. At what point did the pharmacy start looking out for the insurance conglomerates like UCare before doing what is best for the patient? This is a disturbing trend happening with costly medications that each and every person should be concerned about.

I’m not from the area, but I was referred to this pharmacy for a specialty medication that was unaffordable through a local compounding pharmacy. I had a few questions regarding pricing and delivery of medications, and they responded to my email promptly. The only negative I encountered was wait time on the phone, as it was just over 10 minutes I was on hold, but I’ve definitely sat on hold longer with other pharmacies. The pricing was much more reasonable, so I was actually able to afford my medication. They were able to deliver my prescription to my home in North Dakota within 1-2 days. Incredibly grateful for their services!
