Katterman's Sand Point Pharmacy

The service here is amazing compared to the big chains. You call them and a human being answers! That human actually knows helpful stuff! If your Bartells or RiteAid died come here you won't regret it.

I am so obsessed with this pharmacy. As the other pharmacies in the Seattle area have consolidated, services have become increasingly corporate-ized and, frankly, awful. I've waited in line at several for hours while the clearly over-worked and tired pharmacists tried to fill orders. I did some searching and found Katterman's, and it's like the answer to our pharmacy prayers! I've been able to quickly fill all of our family's prescriptions, and their vaccine availability and knowledge is incredible. They have nearly any vaccine I can think of, and they make themselves available to consult on the best for different situations (travel, pregnancy, etc.). I am currently pregnant and my OB wants me to get the Flu, COVID, TDaP and RSV vaccines. Today I walked in, got two of the four (spreading them out a bit) and walked out in less than 15 minutes. My son's pediatrician ran out of the COVID vaccine, and they said they've just been sending everyone to Katterman's. Katterman's isn't fancy - old school decor but also, old school (excellent) service. After the disappointment of the Seattle pharmacy situation over the past few years, I finally found our go-to place. Never change Katterman's!!

I am writing to express my concern regarding the poor service I have experienced during my last two visits to your pharmacy. I have been a long-time customer, and under the previous ownership I never had any issues. Unfortunately, since the recent change in ownership, the quality of service has noticeably declined. During my first issue, my medication was sent to an entirely different address. This caused a significant inconvenience and delayed my ability to receive the prescription I needed. More recently, during my second visit, I called the night before to confirm that my prescription would be ready the following day. However, when I arrived, the staff member at the counter informed me that my order was not yet prepared and asked me to wait 15 minutes. I waited patiently, but my name was never called. After about 40 minutes, I had to get back in line to ask again—only then was I told that my prescription was finally ready. These repeated issues have caused unnecessary stress and wasted time. I hope you will address these concerns and take steps to improve organization, communication, and overall customer service moving forward.

Lovely staff! Well stocked pharmacy with a curious amount of necessities elsewhere in the store. for instance, gratings cards (local/cutesy) handy travel must haves, fun & relevant gifts for everybody of all ages and interests. my favorite “modern apothecary”!

Visited the pharmacy for the first time today after it being highly recommended via word of mouth. These folks are truly awesome especially if you need vaccines.
