Malama Compounding Pharmacy

Great compounding pharmacy.... they filled my prescription very quickly and were in constant communication with me. They not only fill prescriptions for people but for animals too. They played a huge part in the quick recovery of our dog. Thank you so much!!!!

I very rarely post reviews, ever. As a parent of young children, no time. That said, this pharmacy and specifically its staff are special. Three days before our trip to Hawaii, we realized that we were going to run out of my daughter’s specialty medication while there, and we could not get it filled at home in time. I called Malama and they connected me directly with the pharmacist. Not only were they incredibly nice by phone (even more so in person), but they even called me the day before to make sure they would have the medication in time for our flight arrival. Kindness, caring, professionalism, unlike anything I’ve seen on the mainland. I hope they see this review and know how much we appreciate what they do.

They never call when Rx is ready. I have to guess. The formulations are not always consistent. Friendy staff and great coffee.

My wife was driving our tiny car. She pulled into the spot where another vehicle just pulled out. Aggressively (who I assume is the owner) comes to us and threatens to tow us. We were confused by both his attitude/aggression as well as not being aware what we were doing wrong. We left, found parking elsewhere…my wife than walked into his pharmacy. He said “oh I wasn’t aware you were coming in here. She advised him to learn manners than left.

We will in Kona tomorrow and I realized the pharmacy I use for my medication miscounted my pills leaving me a couple of days short. I called Malama Pharmacy praying that they’d be understanding and kind- as I’d only ever see them one time! Amazing customer service and now I can rest easy knowing that my growing baby will be okay! So kind, and caring! I wish businesses were like that here!!
