Pharmacare - Specialty & Infusion Services

We were forced by North Hawaii Community Hospital to use this company even though there is another company called Option. I complained to Pharmacare that their prices were way to high ( just look up the drug in Medicare and you get the cost). They told me at forst that it's because we are using the nurse services. Then I tried to get our discount card to work but no matter what they just over charged me every single week. BEWARE!!! I paid $720 per week when it should have been $350 (quote from other company). I feel totally ripped off and pissed.

This is a small, busy infusion center near the airport. We have been working with a wonderful nurse named Mel for about six months. She uses a machine to help find the vein. She usually gets it the first time. Chairs are comfy and environment comfortable and clean. Parking is free. There is no receptionist. You ring a buzzer and they let you in. Parking is up a high ramp. Prices are high with our insurance.

It was so great!! The staff are really what should be most celebrated. They made me feel as relaxed as possibly and provide snacks. The only con is it’s tricky to find, but it’s a big business park. Just bear in mind the G level has its own ramp kiddy corner-ish to Dunkin’ Donuts.

I have dealt with MANY pharmacies over years challenged by not only my health issues, but finances and copays that come with receiving constant treatment . The entire Pharamcare team has been amazing from day 1. Especially Rachel, who has taken it upon herself to check in on reimbursement with the actual company for me. She has called me to give updates detailing her headway, ensuring me it will be okay and the journey is almost over. Being in the Healthcare industry myself, I truly appreciate the service, empathy and care Pharmacare Specialty has provided.

The staff are always welcoming and kind. They are a very family friendly environment. They make it so easy.
