Summers Compounding – Blue Springs (Compounding Pharmacy)

Worse than "Bankers hours", if your a stay at home person, retired, unemployed the hours are fine. If you work to support your family forgetaboutit, their hours are 9am - 5pm Mon-Fri only, so by the time you get off work and drive home it's too late, they open well after you start working in the morning. The product is fine, pricing a little on the higher end (note: They charge you when 'they' fill the Rx, not when you pick it up, so if they don't have enough product to fill your Rx you pay full price for a partial but don't know until you pick up up and you already paid). Would had gone 4 stars if not for the office hours. They do offer USPS for a fee and several days additional. This is why it's difficult to support small businesses in our community.

They are great. Helped by filling a specialty RX. It was going to be a few hours, (my wife was too sick to wait). They offered for it to be mailed and it should arrive in appx 3 days, we should have it soon and with no waiting.

Very helpful, friendly, and filled the prescription while I waited.

First and last time using this pharmacy. 1- I called in advance and got a quantity and cost, then after getting it filled I was told they could only fill 1/4 of the order at nearly the same price. 2- Their business hours makes no sense, how are working people supposed to pick up their prescriptions? Even banks are open until 6 and on Saturdays! 3- They make you pay in advance which explains why I was tricked into paying full price for 1/4 of the prescription , deceitful to say the least! ! 4- The lady over the phone was very evasive and couldn't answer a simple question on the " Days of Supply" for my prescription, which was a red flag considering when I picked it up it clearly said the days supply on the bottle, so they purposely lied to me over the phone and charged me up front for a weeks supply that should have been a month's worth! I will drive the extra mileage back to the my old pharmacy just to avoid this terrible one ! I only tried this place because it was closer, big mistake on my part!
