This Walgreens is an example of a hard working, patient, brilliant, and absolutely wonderful group of people. I can't count the amount of times I've had brief questions, or last minute medication or vaccine concerns, and they always help. They are the best and are doing such important work. Thank you Walgreens Pharmacy!
My experience yesterday was great last name is Rodgers with a d and I made a comment about like the dodgers and was Jockley told I shouldn’t say that Considering how in San Francisco haha well said In all personnel, there were very friendly
Their "systems" go down--or are down--every time I have visited the store. They inexplicably gutted all of the retail shelving, leaving a messy pile of boards and poles that have been there for months. The employees don't deserve our ire; it's Walgreens' board and investors who are anti-labor and underpay their beleaguered employees. There is no branch of this revolting chain store that is even tolerable to do business with. Walgreen's has been a terrible neighbor in the City; when a store incurs too much loss from the rampant shoplifting, they simply close. They don't care about the neighborhoods of which they are a part, never maintaining their sidewalks, etc. The stores are hot and stuffy and dirty. But they are the only game in town to pick up an Rx "quickly" - or to buy other sundries you can only find at a drug store. They know this and cynically carry on in the same manner across stores. Broken window? Board it up for 6 months. Too much theft? Lock everything up and don't give the their paucity of employees any time to unlock cases. I know it's totally unrealistic, but the situation in SF is absolutely ripe for the return of the indie drug stores of the past, that actually had pride in what they did and were.
Absolute children running the store. If anything go to the Walgreens across the water north of this one. Even though the other location has 1 person working, at least they did their job. This location never has meds even REMOTELY on time. They also lied to my face after hearing them talk about 5 ft AWAY from the front desk. I overheard them say the vaccine I was getting wasn’t thawed because someone didn’t take it out the freezer. Instead of letting me know I’d have to wait 20-30 minutes for it to thaw, they LIED to my face and told me they didn’t have it in stock after I just heard them talking behind the desk. They immediately canceled my appointment and told me I had to go somewhere else to get it.
These people were the nicest and most empathetic folk I have talked to at a pharmacy. They really cared and tried to help with the maze of insurance and coupons. THANK YOU ♥️
