Having learned of Doctor Johnson through friends familiar with prolotherapy, this prior to their moving here to Middle TN, I added the practice and procedure to my research list of alternatives to potential joint replacement. Beyond an amazing & supportive staff, Dr Johnson is as caring, concerned and engaging as he is a knowledgable and talented professional. His experience, data generated and results, together with detailed written reports beyond our conversations, convinced me prolotherapy was the best option generated from a cost / benefits perspective. Executive summary - 6 treatments, 1 each monthly - 95% reduction in pain with comparable increases in strength & flexibility - knees and shoulders. I'm now able to enjoy full workouts at the gym once again and all active outdoor pursuits.

I have been to Dr. Johnson on several occasions in the last 6-8 years. First, with my rotator cuff, then knees, elbow, and hip. I have recommended him to many of my friends and family. All have been happy with the results. I can’t really tell you exactly how he does it, but know he has made my life much better.

I went to Dr.Johnson for 3 or 4 months (its been a while) for chronic lumbar spine pain for 4yrs. I was taking pain medication daily at that point and still having horrible pain my medication wouldn't touch and my doctors would not prescribe me anything different. I did the basic shots once a month and had to quit due to financial reasons. They were so amazing and they knew it took more to numb me so they made sure and used enough numbing to make me comfortable. The ladies were all so nice and they would help Dr. Johnson by distracting me and giving me breaks if I needed them. At first the only difference I saw was pain relief the following days after my shots, but now a few months after stopping the injections, I have not been needing my pain medication, and thats a big deal for me since I am a farmer lifting heavy feed daily and running after cows! I highly recommend this place and I will be back to do more treatments as needed when I am financially able to! Also, it was a 2hr drive for me so I wouldn't make the drive if it didn't help me or If I didn't love them!!

I have had a combined 9 surgeries on my shoulders and knees within an 8 year span (due to sports injuries). As well as my injured Achilles tendon, which kept me from running, is now 100% range of motion/pain free! I’m super grateful for Dr. Johnson and his staff!! They’ve literally saved my joints and have kept me from going under the knife.

I suffered from extreme neck/shoulder/elbow pain on my right side for almost a year. I tried TEN different treatments, including chiropractic, acupuncture, OT, PT and decompression. I was just about to give in to surgery when I picked up a book that mentioned Prolotherapy. WHAT A GODSEND!!! I have a connective tissue disorder, so the process made sense. I spent around $3000 for all my treatments, but for everything I did before I spent almost $10K, and that was with insurance and none of it worked!!!!!
